Mike Cabal brings the ball up
In what was a first for the Hakoah men's team this preseason, practice was held at night at University Stadium in Teaneck, New Jersey. The yellow team started out with a dominant back line though it had trouble containing the speed of Saeed Baba (Sayreville). Andrew Laguna's arrival was crucial for the color team to start up deadly counter attacks.

The yellow side consistently pushed the ball out to the wings where Josh Pransky (Fair Lawn/Yeshiva) made piercing overlapping runs. Crisp passing by Harel Nahar (Tenafly) meant that the yellow team had many chances on goal but were unable to connect.

Ultimately, the pre-season warm-up ended very well and the squad hopes to be boosted next week by the return of Philip Robinson (Jersey City/Skidmore), Jonah Silk (S. Orange/Drew) and Nadav Gottesman (Fort Lee/FDU).
